Chosen Design
Our composite doors were the ideal option for our customer’s property. The style she went for was a composite door with three glazing panels in the centre of the door – the middle of which a longer pane of glass. These were manufactured with our high-quality double glazing, keeping the ideal internal temperature yet allowing daylight to stream into her house. The anthracite grey colour was chosen as it is a popular choice for contemporary doors. This suited the customer perfectly. This is made with a durable coating, which doesn’t damage or deteriorate over time.
As well as this, Mrs Reynolds decided on a contemporary silver T-pull handle. This added a modern touch to the appearance, which suited the customer perfectly. She also chose a single key locking handle, manufactured with security in mind. This locking system is crafted with superb materials, made to prevent forced entry. The customer could take advantage of a more secure home in Milton Keynes once the door was installed. She also chose a silver letterbox to match the handle and lock, for the perfect finish to the door.
The Installation
Following the survey and once the design was chosen by the customer, we were able to get to work. The composite door installation was a success as our expert team worked to the highest standards. They made sure that they left the property exactly as we found it, keeping a clean and tidy area. We only use the most experienced fitters for our double glazing installations, meaning our customers are left satisfied with our work.
Benefits
Thermal Efficiency
Our composite doors offer some of the best thermal values on the market. By using leading suppliers in the industry, we are able to offer a door that will retain heat for much longer than outdated profiles. With a combination of uPVC, timber, foam and GRP skin, the doors are able to prevent heat loss to an exceptional standard. Not only this, but they work to regulate the internal temperature to prevent an excess of heat int the warmer months. Because of this, Mrs Reynolds can benefit from lower energy bills and will produce fewer carbon emissions as a result. Our composite doors are certainly a worthwhile investment.
Weather Resistance
With a multi-chambered design in the profile, composite doors can withstand the most extreme weather conditions. The doors are crafted to prevent water ingress, preventing further issues such as damp and mould. As well as this, with a weather seal in place, there won’t be an issue of draughts making their way into the Milton Keynes property. With low maintenance needed and little chance for structural damage, the doors will perform to an exceptional standard. All the customer needs to do is wipe down the door with a damp cloth to reap the benefits for decades.
